Dear Mass Golf Member Clubs:
On behalf of our Board of Directors and Staff, we want to extend our sincere gratitude for your continued partnership and dedication to the game of golf in Massachusetts. The last five years have been a transformative time for our sport. We have witnessed remarkable growth and engagement and this is largely due to the collective and unwavering commitment of the entire community.
At Mass Golf, we remain steadfast in our commitment to advancing golf in Massachusetts by growing an engaged and inclusive community. Over the past five years, we've significantly expanded our efforts in several key areas, driven by our strategic plan and a desire to provide the best possible experience for our member clubs and members. This includes greater emphasis on core services, junior and women's golf development and advocacy for the game across the Commonwealth.
To support this continued growth and enhance the services we provide, we've made strategic investments across our organization:
- Technology Upgrades: We have continued to enhance our technology platforms, ensuring seamless integration with the World Handicap System and providing more efficient tools for member management, online join/renew, and digital and print communications. We have engaged with Golf Genius for a long-term investment and commitment. All of this allows us to offer you and your golfers the best possible digital experience.
- Expanded Programs and Services: We have broadened our educational offerings, strengthened our support for course ratings and handicapping, and introduced new initiatives designed to grow participation and foster a more inclusive golf community. Both Youth On Course and First Tee Massachusetts have seen tremendous expansion and growth in recent years.
- Operational Enhancements: To meet the increasing demands and complexities of a thriving golf landscape, we have invested in staff development and operational efficiencies, all aimed at delivering top-tier service to our member clubs.
With our commitment to growing the game and continuously improving our offerings, we find it necessary to make an adjustment to the annual Mass Golf/GHIN Membership fees.
Effective for the 2026 season and starting November 1st, the annual Mass Golf/GHIN Membership fees will increase from $35 to $40 per member golfer. We are pleased to confirm that junior golfers (under the age of 19) will continue to be free of charge, reinforcing our dedication to nurturing the next generation of golfers.
Please note that Member Club dues will remain unchanged at this time and the Mass Golf/GHIN Membership fee was last adjusted in 2022.
