WHS Club Authorization Deadline Approaching - July 1st
If your course has not completed the 2024 WHS Club Authorization process, please fill out the form linked below, and a Member Services staff member will send you your club's direct education and quiz link. If you are unsure if your course has completed the WHS Club Authorization requirements, please contact ghin@massgolf.org.
New England Public Golf Forum Early Bird Registration July 1st - August 1st
Early bird registration will begin on Monday, July 1st for the New England Public Golf Forum hosted by South Shore Country Club in Hingham, MA on October 29th. Tickets for the education portion of the event will be on sale for $30 for a limited time. The event will feature panel discussions, networking opportunities, and on-course demonstration that will empower and educate attendees on ways they can enhance their public golf facility and drive social, economic, and environmental value for their community.
Golf Genius is recognized as the industry leader in software solutions for tournament management. The TM Club version is offered at no cost, while TM Premium offers additional features such as live scoring through the mobile app, event registration or text messaging. Join the Effort and Become a Youth on Course Hiker!
While a roster of golfers is already taking shape, there’s plenty of room for more hikers on Team Mass Golf. Team Mass Golf is looking to recruit a group of charitable players to take on 100 holes this fall to raise awareness and funds to support Youth on Course. Check out the video below to learn more!
Men's Team Matches Underway!
The inaugural Men's Team Matches kicked off this month with 60 Member Clubs being represented in this statewide competition that allows male Mass Golf members to participate in a competitive and social inter-club format. Team Matches consist of four matches over the course of the summer months (June – September), with one match taking place each month. Teams compete in four-team regions, and the winner of each region after the four regular season matches will move on to the Men’s Team Matches Championship. Check out the standings below.
Report of the Month: Playing Conditions Calculation Report
Interested in seeing if and when your course received an adjustment for abnormal course and/or weather conditions? Check out the Playing Conditions Calculation report in the GHIN Admin portal.
Here's how to access your course's report:
Go to "Reports" tab > "Templates" tab > "Playing Conditions Calculation Report" > click on "View" > customize the criteria and date range of your choosing with the pulldown menus > click "Run".
