Updated Calendar Is Available On The Links Website

A calendar of events for the 2023 season has been updated to The Links website. Please refer to it often to check course availability and all golf activities.

2023 PGA Junior League Results

Congratulations to the “Notorious Niblicks,” finishing in first place with 19 points. Members of the team include Rocco Choe, Greyson Cooper, Christopher Doherty, Connor Hicks, Sean Igo, August Keith, Annabella Liu, and Vanessa Liu. “The Lobbers” finished 2nd with 16 points, and “The Holey Mollies” finished in third place one point behind with 15 points.

Upcoming Events/Course Closures

• Tuesday August 15: Junior Members Clinic (11 a.m.-12 p.m.)
• Tuesday August 15: Attleboro Rec. Junior Clinic (front nine closed 12:30 p.m.- 1:30 p.m.)
• Monday August 21: Bishop Feehan Football Outing (8 a.m. Shotgun, 9 Holes. Front 9 Only)
• Monday August 28 - Thursday August 31: Green Work/Topdressing, 9 Holes Closed Each Day (Weather Dependent)

Regular League Play

• Mondays, First Tee Classes, 12:30-4 p.m., front nine
• Mondays, Hockomock YMCA Integration Team, 5 p.m. shotgun start on the front nine.
• Wednesdays, Women’s Wednesday League, 5 p.m. shotgun start on the front nine.
• Thursdays, First Tee Classes, 12:30-4 p.m., front nine 

Parent-Child/Grandchild Summer Tournament

Saturday, August 26, 10 a.m. Shotgun Start.

• Member Teams and Non-Member Teams
• (Member Teams: only one player needs to be a member of The Links)

Have fun with your family! The tournament features 18 holes and includes post-round pizza and prizes. The cost is $40 per member team, $60 per non-member team.

Players can sign up 30 days in advance in the pro shop or by calling 508-222-0555. Sign up cut-off date, 48 hours before the start of the tournament.

Parent Child Format: Two Player Scramble - Both players hit a tee shot and select the best shot of the two. Both players then place their ball by the one selected, play their shot, and continue this process until the ball is holed.

Team Score only (net and gross prizes, a modified Calloway Scoring System will be used to determine net scores).

Member and Non-Member Divisions: Children under 18 / Children 18 or over.

Donate to the 100 Hole Hike

Youth on Course supporters from across the country become “Hikers” and take on the formidable challenge of playing (and walking!) 100 holes of golf in one day, all in an effort to help ensure young people have affordable access to golf and the life-changing opportunities that come with playing the sport. Consider donating to our Massachusetts contingent of hikers, who will take on the Links on September 18th.

Drew's Tip of the Month

Playing smart golf can be a challenge. There is a saying that you can’t win a tournament with one shot, but you certainly can lose one. Playing smart means making good decisions and often swallowing your pride. If your ball ends up in the rough and you can’t see it from 30 feet away it’s time to take out a wedge, play the ball back in your stance, hit down, and lay it up to an area in the fairway that will leave you with an easy approach to the hole. You still might get it up and down for par, but you won’t make a double bogey or worse. Keep Swinging!
