Golf to Paradise - First Tee Champions Challenge
Two long time participants of First Tee – Massachusetts traveled to Naples, Florida, and Tiburon Golf Club to attend the 2023 Golf to Paradise - First Tee Champions Challenge, on behalf of the Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO and the Naples, Marco Island & The Everglades, Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).
David Jope (Freetown, MA) and Keira Joshi (Ashland, MA) joined participants from the First Tee chapters of Greater Chicago, Greater Philadelphia, Metropolitan New York, and Naples/Collier. During their time in the Sunshine State, they participated in four days of golf, a community service project, and social events.
Spring Schedules are HERE! Several First Tee - Massachusetts locations will host spring programming beginning in late April. Registration is set to open throughout the week of February 27th.
Sears Shares Experience from First Tee Scholars Workshop
First Tee – Massachusetts alumnus Daniel Sears (Springfield, MA), currently a freshman at Franciscan University, recently returned from a First Tee Scholars winter workshop in Jacksonville Beach, Florida and had this to say about his experience.
"The experience was incredible", said Sears. "after working with First Tee Mass for so long, it was good to see what it takes at the national level to put on workshops like this. Being able to meet people who put so much effort and time into the cooperate side of it was cool. The best part of this trip was the ability to network and meet people I wouldn't normally get to meet. We all exchanged numbers and emails to stay in touch and reach out for advice when needed. People at First Tee and supporters of First Tee, go out of their way on a daily basis to help kids like me and that's really what it’s all about".
We're Expanding!
Stay tuned for more information about new programs and locations coming in Summer 2023!
New Age-Based Curriculum

Improved, customized and mobile-friendly parent experience
Moving through carts 3x faster than the current registration system
Consistent, yet customized chapter experience
Same infrastructure of Listings and Listing Sessions
Improved Financial Aid and Memberships functionality
13 year old Seven Cosgrove has been apart of First Tee - Massachusetts at Franklin Park, Boston for six years. It was through her elementary school teacher that Seven got involved with First Tee. "My future plan is to go back to First Tee and volunteer, so I can help other kids and share my experience with them".
Josiah Chow
Josiah is in his first year of First Tee programming but has been surrounded by the game of golf since he was 3 years old. His favorite things about First Tee - Massachusetts are the experiences he has been able to participate in, such as the Top Golf Live event at Fenway Park. But he says the best thing about First Tee is our coaches, and the friends he has made along the way.
