Just a few months ago, the Scituate Girl's High School Golf Team was nearing the end of a 2.5 year process to become a Varsity program when funding became an issue. Inspired by their dedication to create more opportunities for girls to participate in golf, Mass Golf stepped in to support the team for their inaugural season.
We've all been there before. Bad golf days happen to the best of us, but it is how you respond in the moment that will set you apart from the others. Here are our best tips for surviving even the worst of rounds.
Do the Local Rules apply during competition? Christine Veator, a Volunteer Rules Official for Mass Golf, goes through the information made available to you so you can avoid those unwarranted penalty strokes.
If you baby it and come up short, you're looking at a 3-putt situation. Try to hit it harder and your putting stroke can lose all sense of smoothness and control. Luckily, Titleist staff member Trillium Rose has a solution.
