View Calendar Junior Clinics Information Youth on Course Affordable Junior Golf Throughout Massachusetts The $20 annual membership fee gives youth golfers ages 6-18 access to play at any of the 32 participating courses (including The Links!) throughout the Bay State for only $5 per round. When juniors join Youth on Course through Mass Golf, they also become Mass Golf members and gain access to a number of member benefits. Youth On Course Drew's Tip: Watch Your Ball When You Putt I will often see golfers hit their putt well past the hole and look down in disgust and never look up again until the ball stops rolling. What they miss is learning how the comeback putt will break. Watch your putts the entire length of their travel and learn from them. Watch the speed and the curvature on all putts so you can anticipate your next putt if it doesn’t find the cup. It also helps to watch other golfers in your group putt. Their ball can also give you pertinent information, which you can use. Quote of the Month “The secret of this lies in the fact that the speed of the swing and the speed of the clubhead are entirely different, and oddly enough it is the slow swing which, by enabling the wrists to open at the correct instant, gives you maximum clubhead speed where you want it-beyond the ball.” — Percy Boomer, Author of the 1946 book 'On Learning Golf', considered the No. 1 instruction book by coaches/instructors in a recent Sports Illustrated poll.
