Dear Captains, Players and Club Staff,
It’s hard to believe another Spring Team and Fall Cup season has come and gone! We want to extend our sincere thanks for your continued leadership and support of the Women’s Team Matches — a tradition that has thrived for decades thanks to dedicated golfers like you.
We also appreciate everyone who took the time to complete our post-season surveys. Your insights, along with direct conversations and data analysis, have been instrumental in helping us evaluate the improvements implemented for the 2025 season.
Following our comprehensive review, we are pleased to share a summary of updates for the 2026 season. You’ll find a document linked below outlining the key adjustments we’ve made. These updates reflect our commitment to maintaining the flexibility players value, while also improving the accuracy of aggregate handicaps for Spring Team cup building.
Additionally, we’ve included a summary of survey results from this year’s Spring Team captains, one of which had just shy of a 100% response rate. The feedback focused primarily on the Spring Team season, where the most significant changes were introduced.
The Women’s Team Matches continue to be a cornerstone of Mass Golf’s commitment to fostering community, competition, and camaraderie among female golfers across the state. We remain dedicated to enhancing the experience for both players and clubs, and we thank you for your ongoing support.
We look forward to another exciting and successful season in 2026. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!
