Mass Golf's new Club Partner Program is designed to ensure that each Member Club can take full advantage of Mass Golf services, programs and resources, as well as receiving fully funded USGA Green Section services.
Since the USGA launched Phase 2 of its Handicap Review Tool, over 50 Member Clubs from Mass Golf have completed a full club-wide review using it. Thanks to this high level of participation, Mass Golf ranks among the top 5 golf associations in the U.S. when it comes to using the new tool.

The Mass Golf Annual Meeting will take place on October 16th at Thorny Lea Golf Club, and we encourage all Member Club representatives to attend. If you haven't done so already, we ask that a meeting RSVP and or certificate of response is submitted on behalf of your Club by October 1st.
Earlier this year, Golf Genius informed Legacy Scorecard users that access to these scorecards will end on September 1st, 2025. Now that the date has passed, we want to make sure our Member Clubs know where to turn for scorecard resources.
The Community Reports section features many outstanding user-created scorecards. Additionally, you can find Scorecard Composer templates created by Golf Genius in your Report Center. However, it’s important to note that existing Legacy Scorecards cannot be transferred to Scorecard Composer.
Most courses in the Northeast have trees on the property – either lining fairways, around greens and tees, or planted near the clubhouse. Clearly, it is possible for trees and grass to coexist, but it is better for the health of both to strike the right balance by having a thoughtful tree management plan in place.
Check out this USGA article below that discusses the proper balance of trees and grass in the Northeast.
