Drew’s Tip of the Month

Golf is both physical and mental.  You can’t have one without the other. To play a reasonably good game of golf, you should try to develop a series of remembered feelings that you can recall and replace any thinking regardless of your mental state.  These feelings are developed by repetition.  Repetition is the mother of skill. A reliable feel is developed over time through your senses.  Instead of trying to hit at the ball, focus on the feel of a swing through the ball where peak speed is felt three feet past the ball.  Where the ball flies will take care of itself. Let your motion make the shot and Keep Swinging!

Golf Quote of the Month

“The golf swing is like suitcase into which we are trying to pack one too many items.” - John Updike
