Dear Captains, Players and Club Staff,
The 2024 golf season is coming to an end and after six months of in-depth discussions, research, surveying and analysis of the Women's Team Matches, we are excited to share a list of improvements that will be implemented for the 2025 season and beyond. While Mass Golf has dedicated significant time and efforts to improve the overall player and club experience in regard to these events, we also want to reiterate that this is a continual and ongoing process as the industry and demographics continue to evolve.
Our main objective in these efforts was to include as many stakeholders in the review process - allowing us to cover all regions in the state to get a full picture of what would be best for the Women's Team Matches group as a whole. As shared in prior communications, below is a brief outline of steps taken:
☑️ May - Identify 10-person Working Group
☑️ June, July, August, September - Working Group meets on monthly basis
☑️ September - Identify and conduct Focus Groups
☑️ October - Survey and review all Women's Team Matches stakeholders
📍 November - Finalize and implement improvements for 2025 season
🔜 November 20th - 2025 registration opens for Spring Teams & Fall Cup
While the email list we have consists of club staff, captains and players from the past year, please help us spread the word in an effort to communicate these changes before the 2025 season begins.
